  The members of the D.C. Chapter of the American Board of Civil Trial Advocates, all of whom are senior trial lawyers practicing in different law firms throughout the metropolitan region, unanimously elected Larry Lapidus to be President of the Chapter at it regular meeting of April 20, 2010. Membership of the Chapter is limited to those lawyers with a significant amount of trial experience. Like its national counterpart, the local chapter seeks to protect the American civil trial jury system, increase public knowledge and understanding of the civil justice system and promote civility and professionalism among members of the trial bar.  |
