Karp Frosh is a civil litigation firm with offices in Washington, D.C., northern Virginia and throughout Maryland. The Firm has the highest possible rating from Martindale Hubbell -- the nation's preeminent attorney rating service -- and has co-counseled major cases referred by attorneys in New York, Chicago, Boston, California, Florida, Pennsylvania, Texas, New Jersey and, of course, D.C., Maryland and Virginia. Although Karp Frosh seeks practical solutions to its clients' problems without resorting to litigation, the Firm is ready and able to go to court when necessary. The December 2004 edition of the "Washingtonian Magazine" includes Karp Frosh as one of the "Best Law Firms" and lists four of the Firm's attorneys among the top one percent in the D.C. metropolitan area. The "Legal Times" -- a publication covering the local legal community -- recently listed Karp Frosh as the fifth largest firm in the Maryland suburbs. As part of the Firm's growth, its practice areas have expanded over the past few years to include Commercial Litigation, Business Law, Estate Planning, Employment Law, and Domestic Relations and Family Law. Yet despite the Firm's growth, Karp Frosh has been able to maintain close, personal relationships with its clients. Indeed, to better communicate with clients whose first language is not English, Karp Frosh has attorneys and staff members who speak Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Arabic and Korean.

• Ron Karp has served for almost 20 years on the Washington Regional Board of the Anti-Defamation League, an organization devoted to fighting bigotry.
  
  
• Brian Frosh has served in the Maryland State Legislature for 16 years (in both the House of Delegates and presently in the Senate). He recently served as Chair of the Chesapeake Bay Commission, and is an Honorary Director of the Hebrew Home of Greater Washington.
  
  
• Mike Subin has spent 16 years on the Montgomery County Council where he currently serves as President of the Council. He recently accepted an invitation to sit on the Board of Visitors of the Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. He is a former chair of the Board of Trustees of Montgomery College.
  
  
• Lee Norwind has devoted years to serving on the Board of Trustees for The Barnesville School.
