Jack Gold heads the firm's appellate division, handles complex dispositive motions in lower courts and recently expanded his practice to include estate planning. Jack has accumulated an impressive record of appellate victories in the state courts of Maryland and the District of Columbia, and also has won federal court appeals in the Fourth and Fifth Circuits (summaries of representative cases in which Jack and other members of the Firm have been involved can be viewed by clicking the Appellate Victories button). Jack has served on the Amicus Committee for the D.C. Trial Lawyers Association for more than 10 years, and he was Chairman of the committee from 2001-2003. Jack has an "AV Preeminent" peer review rating from Martindale-Hubbell -- the highest possible rating for ethics and legal ability. Jack received his law degree from the Georgetown University Law Center in 1992 and his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in 1983.
