He recently secured a $9.4 million payout for the victim of a truck accident. He also co-counseled a case in federal court which secured a $12 million verdict for the victim of terrorism. Ron is proud that he is respected by his peers and has been selected year after year to appear in Best Lawyers in America—a listing of the top one percent of lawyers in the United States. In May of 2011 the Washington Post magazine published a list in the Super Lawyers section called: Washington DC: THE TOP 100. Ron was listed amongst the top 100 lawyers who received the highest point totals in the nomination and blue ribbon review process. There are over 100,000 lawyers in the tri-state (DC/Maryland/Virginia) area.
The firm's managing partner, Ron has been a frequent lecturer at trial lawyer seminars, and has appeared on numerous television and radio programs. He has been lead counsel in a number of recent high-profile cases which have been referenced in The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, The Times of London, People Magazine and various network television programs. Ron's many prominent cases include his representation of former Montgomery County Police Chief Charles Moose in his successful First Amendment battle to publish his book, Three Weeks in October.
