Lawrence S. Lapidus - Larry has achieved a number of million dollar and six figure verdicts for our clients, both in medical malpractice and automobile accident cases. Larry recently was selected as a Washington, D.C. "Super Lawyer" for 2008, and was included among the "Best Lawyers" in the DC metropolitan area in the December 2007 edition of the "Washingtonian Magazine." Also included in the 2004 & 2005 editions of " Who's Who in American Law and "Who's Who in America," Larry has litigated numerous cases involving people injured while passing through Metrorail stations and riding the Metro Transit System.
Not limited to one legal speciality, Larry has distinguished himself in any type of case requiring legal work in the courts, including commercial litigation for executives, business owners and small business corporations. Active in the organized bar in both D.C. and Maryland, Larry has served on the committee which writes the standard jury instructions used by D.C. judges to inform the jury of the law at the close of every civil case. Larry is a past President of the Maryland Employment Lawyers Association, and a current member of the Board of Governors of the D.C. Trial Lawyers Association. Larry holds a Master of Laws degree from Georgetown University Law School and is admitted to practice law in Maryland, D.C. and Pennsylvania.
